A TALE OF TWO CITIES will have its KOREAN LANGUAGE PREMIERE in Seoul, Korea - August 28th through October 7.
OVER THE MOON - THE BROADWAY LULLABY PROJECT Deluxe CD, Book and E-Book have been released. Jill recently collaborated with Pulitzer Prize and Oscar winning writer John Patrick Shanley to write a song for the project which benefits breast cancer research. The song, Riding A White Horse, lyrics by Shanley and music by Santoriello is featured on the double CD and also the E-Book, both available on Amazon, Itunes and from the website: Over the Moon

The IRISH PREMIERE PRODUCTION of A TALE OF TWO CITIES received 3 nominations from the ASSOCIATION OF IRISH MUSICALS SOCIETY, including one for Best Overall Show! Nominations were also awarded to Alan Greaney (Sydney Carton) and Stephen Macken (Dr. Manette). UPDATE: Stephen Macken won the Best Supporting Actor honors. Congratulations to All!

JILL SANTORIELLO is the award winning author of the Broadway musical "A TALE OF TWO CITIES" which received a 2008 Outer Critics Circle Nomination for Outstanding New Broadway Musical. "A Tale of Two Cities" also earned an Outer Critics nomination for the acclaimed performance of James Barbour as Sydney Carton, as well as 3 Drama Desk Nominations and a Drama League nomination. Prior to Broadway, the world premiere production of "A TALE OF TWO CITIES" enjoyed a sold-out run at Florida's historic Asolo Repertory Theatre, winning numerous awards including Best Musical of the season.
In 2009, Jill adapted the musical and served as Executive Producer for a PBS- special "A Tale of Two Cities - In Concert". The program was narrated by veteran actor Michael York , filmed in the historic Theatre Royale in Brighton, England & featured many of the stars of the Original Broadway Cast.

The PBS concert adaptation premiered on WGBH - Boston in late 2009. A DVD of the program "A Tale of Two Cities In Concert featuring additional bonus material and including a new song with lyrics by Jill Santoriello and music by Frank Wildhorn has been released
. The 114-page softcover book features 14 songs from the Broadway musical plus a 4-page full color section with photos from the Broadway & television concert productions.
The professional, stock & amateur rights to perform "A Tale of Two Cities" are available for license through Samuel French.

Jill Santoriello is a self taught musician who began composing music in her early teens - an outgrowth of having played piano by ear from the age of six. She is a Carr Van Anda graduate of the Ohio University School of Journalism with a minor in Theater. She is also an alumna of the distinguished BMI and ASCAP Musical Theater Workshops. Santoriello was honored with fellowship grants from the Arts Councils of Florida & New Jersey for her work on "A Tale of Two Cities". "Tale" was also a Best Musical finalist in the First International Musical of the Year competition. The song "If Dreams Came True" was one of 5 Best Song Finalists and was featured on the DVD & CD release of the competition, which was televised from Denmark and narrated by Sir Peter Ustinov. Prior to the world premiere production of "A Tale of Two Cities" at the Asolo Repertory Theatre, Jill worked for more than a decade in original programming development at Showtime Networks. She is currently developing several new musical projects.
