BOB JONES UNIVERSITY production of A TALE OF TWO CITIES has been named a National Finalist for The American Prize for Musical Theatre Performance / Conducting. 

 

BROADWAY ON THE BOWERY at DUANE PARK, March 7, 2022, presented IT HAPPENED IN KEY WEST in Concert featuring Wade McCollum, Jessica Vosk, Max Von Essen, Bryce Pinkham, Shereen Pimentel, Mikaela Bennett, Pierre Marias and Jonathan Hoover was directed by Chad Austin and musical directed by Nick Wilders. Hale Centre Theatre presented its first encore production of A TALE OF TWO CITIES February 1 to March 20, 2021 at Mountain America Performing Arts Center, Sandy, Utah. Restricted to 25% capacity for the first month of the run because of COVID regulations​, the production quickly sold out the remainder of its run when restrictions were lifted. BOB JONES UNIVERSITY presented and Live Streamed A TALE OF TWO CITIES March 11-13, 2021 directed by Darren Lawson.

October 18 and 19th the Original Broadway cast reunited for A TALE OF TWO CITIES 10TH ANNIVERSARY CONCERT for 2 sold-out performances at NYC's BIRDLAND.

​

IT HAPPENED IN KEY WEST made its  world premiere in London at the Charing Cross Theatre starting July 4, 2018 through August 18, 2018. .

​

The production of A TALE OF TWO CITIES at CenterPoint Legacy Theatre was named Best Musical of 2018 in the Broadway World Utah People's Choice Awards.  Thanks and Congratulations to all at Centrepoint for an amazing production. 

 

August 25 through 27, 2017, IT HAPPENED IN KEY WEST gave 5 performances to enthusiastic audiences at the Fulton Theatre in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.  Fulton Artistic Director Marc Robin directed and Lucille Nortel nominee Wade McCollum starred.

 

August 19, 2016 - IT HAPPENED IN KEY WEST had an industry reading starring Aladdin stars Courtney Reed and James Moye.

April 14, 2016 - Broadway Au Carre, Paris' premiere Broadway cabaret venue, premiered a concert of Jill's work.  Songs from "A Tale of Two Cities", "It Happened in Key West" and "Outlander" were featured.

March 4, 2016 - Good to Go Songwriter's Showcase at the Times Center. Jeremiah James, Stephanie Rothenberg and Claybourne Elder performed "Elena" from "It Happened in Key West". Stephanie Rothenberg sang "What More Can I Wish For", also from Key West.

5 15  The Freddy Award winning Notre Dame Theatre Company was nominated for SIX 2015 Freddy Awards for their production of "Tale" which ran April 23, Friday April 24 at 7:30 pm and Saturday April 25 at 2:00 and 7:30 pm at the Notre Dame High School in Easton, PA.  

 

8 - 14 -THE THIRD KOREAN PRODUCTION of “A Tale of Two Cities” finished its run in August of 2014.  Watch “I Can’t Recall” on YouTube.

 

7 - 18 - 13 - A   TALE   OF   TWO CITIES    and   TWO  COUNTRIES ---- 

Toho Entertainment's Japanese production of "A Tale of Two Cities" had its Opening Night on July 18, 2013 at the Imperial Garden Theatre in Tokyo!

 

8 - 13 - The Second  Korean production is running through August 6 at the Charlotte Theatre in Seoul !

CANADIAN PREMIERE in AUGUST 2013 at  THE SINGER'S THEATRE, Kitchener, Ontario, Canada -  August 16-18, 2013 !

 

WELSH PREMIERE by the Tredegar Operatic Society September 10-14, 2013 in Tredegar, Wales!  

 

The IRISH PREMIERE PRODUCTION of  A TALE OF TWO CITIES received 3 nominations from the ASSOCIATION OF IRISH MUSICALS SOCIETY, including one for Best Overall Show!  Nominations were also awarded to Alan Greaney (Sydney Carton) and Stephen Macken (Dr. Manette).  UPDATE: Stephen Macken won the Best Supporting Actor honors.  Congratulations to All!
